FAQ

Whether you’re a long-time collector or just curious to check it out, CollectFest is here to celebrate the things you love. Here’s everything you need to know to get the most out of your day at the show.

What time do doors open?

Doors open at 9:00am for VIPs and 10:00am for General Admission. The event wraps up at 5:00pm.

When’s the best time to arrive?

The 10am session brings the energy (and the crowds), so if you’re keen for a more relaxed wander, we recommend locking in the 1pm session. Sundays also tend to be a bit more chilled if that’s your vibe.

Is there parking?

There is parking available next door at Alexander Park (usually for a flat fee of $10), or you might be able to grab a free car park within the surrounding streets.

Paid Parking is available at Alexandra Park (next door to the Auckland Showgrounds). You can enter for parking either on Campbell Cres (off Manukau Road), OR, at Gate B or Gate D on Green Lane West Road.

Limited free parking can also be found on surrounding streets and on Puriri Drive.

NOTE: Due to the size of the event, there is no public parking onsite at the Auckland Show Grounds.

Will there be ATMs?

ATMs are NOT available at all venues. We recommend grabbing cash beforehand to avoid disappointment.

Is there food available?

There will be catering sites inside the showgrounds, so you can fuel up between finds.

How many vendor tables are there?

Each show features between over 100 vendors packed with all kinds of collectables – from trading cards, coins, anime and art, and toys to comics, diecasts, memorabilia, figurines, and more. It’s a collector’s dream.

Can I bring my collection to sell or trade?

Absolutely! We encourage visitors to bring their own collectables to sell or trade with vendors. It’s one of the best parts of the day.

Can I get a multi-day ticket?

Yes! Weekend passes are available and offer great value if you’re planning to attend more than once.

Who can I contact for help with my ticket?

Need help with your ticket? Email us at collectfest@eenz.net.nz and our team will be happy to assist.

Do you accept Companion Cards?

We sure do. Companion Card holders get in free when accompanying a paying ticket holder.
